Fair Use Policy

Plain-English summary of how usage, overage, and data retention work.

Monthly job allowance

Each plan includes a monthly submitted-job allowance:

  • · Light (£5/mo) — 10 jobs/month. Single-user accounts only — teams use Solo or Team.
  • · Solo (£14/mo) — 100 jobs/month.
  • · Team (from £14/mo) — 100 jobs/month per technician (e.g. a 5-seat team gets 500 across the team).

Drafts and unsubmitted work don't count. A busy locksmith typically completes 3–8 SERMI-relevant jobs a working day, so Solo's 100 covers around 5 jobs every working day — comfortable headroom for almost everyone.

What happens if you go over

Nothing breaks. Your jobs always work — we will never block you from recording a SERMI-compliant job mid-shift. Extra jobs above your allowance are billed on your next invoice at:

  • · £0.45 per extra job on the Light plan.
  • · £0.15 per extra job on Solo and Team plans.

If you're on Light and regularly going over 20 jobs/month, the Solo plan works out cheaper — you can switch from the Billing page at any time.

  • · At 80% used — small banner on your dashboard.
  • · At 100% — banner shows live overage cost as you go.
  • · Bill is added to your next monthly invoice automatically.

5-year retention while you're a customer

Submitted jobs are retained for the SERMI-required 5 years. They're stored encrypted, backed up, and accessible to you any time through your account.

If you cancel

When you cancel, we automatically generate a complete export — every PDF report, every photo, every signature, plus a JSON manifest — and email you a secure download link.

  • · You have 30 days to download the ZIP.
  • · You keep your full SERMI compliance record forever.
  • · After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted from our servers.
  • · Want to come back? Just resubscribe before the 30 days ends and nothing is lost.
